We are working with a very exciting news publisher to appoint a Brand Manager into the Cardiff office on a 1-year maternity cover contract. We require someone that has the capabilities to raise profile, relevancy and importance of the key brands and bring creativity and ideas to the team. We dont need you to have sector-specific experience and are very open-minded about what background you may have. As long as you have a strong brand and marketing experience, we would like to hear from you.
 
What youll be doing 
 
Youll be working for the UKs largest news publisher with a long heritage and high standards of journalism. Youll be working closely with editors to identify, shape and launch marketing initiatives that raise the profile, chime with target audiences and build loyalty and everyday engagement. The main aim of yours will be to increase audience reach and drive loyalty through new digital platforms. 
 
In addition, youll be responding quickly to marketplace opportunities to creatively capitalise upon them profitably and in line with the marketing and audience goals. Youll also be driving print loyalty across the region while maximising print purchase and loyalty with subscription campaigns and also driving content campaigns.

We are working with a large commercial business in the centre of Cardiff to appoint a Marketing Manager on an initial 12FTC basis. We are keen to get you started ASAP to allow time for a handover, so if you are immediately available then this is a massive selling point, although we can consider notice of up to 4 weeks. This is a highly commercial role, so it’s essential for you to have at least a few years’ experience within a B2B, commercial, lead generating type of role.   What you’ll be doing As the Marketing Manager for the commercial division, you will sit within the department that specialises in business development and events. You will work closely with the sales team to develop and generate new business leads through developing and driving effective marketing campaigns. This is a standalone role, with no direct reports. You’ll have a really broad marketing skillset and develop a strong brand identity and strategy to support the growth of current and future commercial operations.
