This top brand is looking for a hybrid Digital Designer to join their design team. You’ll be collaborating with a number of multidisciplinary product teams and will design solutions for their entire range of online products and services.
What you’ll be doing
The design team of this business has responsibility for creating and improving interactions across the brands main customer facing website. The website itself has a variety of products and services so design will be varied and present a truly interesting challenge. You will work amongst specialised Agile product teams to get an understanding of each category, their user base and work to improve both customer experience and conversion.
The role itself is fairly multidisciplinary and you’ll work across a few key areas; visual design, UX and front end development (although you won’t need to be a specialist in all of these areas). Working with the product leads across the various category teams you will design end to end experiences; you’ll get an understanding of the various users to the site, use these learnings to wireframe and prototype new journeys and finally take these through to highly polished visual designs.
What experience you’ll need to apply
- Proven experience in a Digital Design position, preferably within eCommerce.
- A strong understanding of user-centred design principles.
- End-to-end hybrid UX & UI experience encompassing user testing, wirefaming, prototyping and visual design.
