We’re helping one of the largest businesses in Cardiff find a UX Strategist to work across their spectrum of digital services. They have got a huge international user base and they’re in the midst of a complete redesign of their digital presence so it’s a challenging, complex and high profile project to be a part of.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be joining a programme where the team are redesigning various elements the organisation's digital presence. As a UX Strategist, it’ll be your role to champion the user across a public facing site, mobile app and internal systems.
You’ll review and usability test the current systems to identify pain points and areas for improvement. You’ll then work with the design and development team to implement these changes. You’ll also need to identify new functionality and features through user research.
You’ll have easy access to users and will be tasked with undertaking regular usability testing sessions, you’ll lead user research processes and you’ll manage various stakeholders across the entire business.
There are some meaty issues that need to be understood around internationalisation and the issues with mobile UI design; this is your chance to help to solve them.
What experience you’ll need
- Experience of undertaking user research and running usability testing sessions in a commercial setting
- An organised and disciplined approach when defining UX processes
- Excellent stakeholder management abilities
