What you’ll be doing
You will be joining a growing team of 3 developers in Bath + a remote CTO (with 5 other developers in another country). You will focus on developing their web-based analytics platform, built on a database of hundreds of millions of events captured from sports around the world. The platform provides tools and visualisations to explore various data, so you’ll need to be focussing on developing attractive and usable UI’s with great detail to ensure the product remains a leader in the industry. You’ll be using Clojure/ClojureScript regularly, so you’ll be training yourself up in this to begin with unless you already have experience, alongside this you’ll be using React for the front-end and PostgreSQL for open source database management. It is important that you work to deadlines, collaborate with the team when you need to and also keep yourself up to date on market trends and emerging technologies, you are encouraged to suggest new tech and bring your own ideas!
