A very successful start-up with a mission of greening the planet is expanding their engineering team (currently 17). They recently featured in Apple’s ‘app of the week’ with over 150,000 registrations having only launched 2 years ago. Experience you’ll need

Essential

  • Experience using JavaScript (ideally React, TypeScript, NodeJS).

What you’ll be doing

The technical challenges range from building a growing social network to investigating new technologies like AR and ML. You will be part of producing two user-facing products – the mobile app, and a bespoke CMS web app – every developer is able to deliver entire vertical features from databases, deployments, services and the front-end. React and React Native are used on the front-end, backed by a GraphQL API implemented with NodeJS with Postgres running on Kubernetes.

The dev team has a tendency towards functional style of programming (with pair programming) and focus on testing, continuous integration and continuous delivery. You will be part of a team of full-stack engineers, with a high degree of autonomy across the full stack.
