Full-Stack Developer

— Digital customer experience builds

We’re helping a software house who build software and digital/customer experiences for a range of famous gardens, green spaces and hotels across the world. As a subsidiary of a larger tech business, they own just about everything for the wider group including web & mobile app builds, eComm and data, offering a real variety of project exposure with plans to scale this further across the European market and beyond. They’re Bristol based with a lovely green office, operating with a hybrid model where most people come in twice a week. You also have the chance to take a secondment to work in South Africa for 3 months if you wanted to! 

What experience you'll need


  • Well-versed with Node or TypeScript, comfortable with back-end engineering. 
  • Experience with a modern front-end JS library like React, Vue, Angular etc. 
  • Knowledge of cloud-native development, preferably Google but any platform fine. 
  • Desire to learn new tech and share your knowledge with the team.
  • You will have tested your own code before.
  • Desire to work in an agile, highly collaborative environment.


  • Experience with SQL databases.
  • Use or knowledge of Microservices architecture.
  • Any iOS or Android experience.      
  • Any background using CI/CD.

What you’ll be doing

The role focuses on building customer experiences for large green spaces and famous hospitality providers, based across the UK and South Africa with plans to scale into other regions globally. You could be working on virtual tours, mobile apps, website builds, digital visitor experiences and much more, there’s real variety and a chance for you to diversify your tech exposure within the JS/TS stack depending on what you’re focused on. The development team has a tendency towards functional style of programming (with pair programming) and focus on testing, continuous integration and continuous delivery.
