Senior Full-Stack Developer

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer (PHP, JS) to join a top product development specialist who really invest in their employees. As a business they’re offering exciting project work using the latest tech, with a whole stack of excellent rewards and learning opportunities.

They’re happy with remote working as long as you can pop to Bristol a couple of times a month for any important meetings.

What skills you’ll be needing

  • Line management or coaching/mentoring experience.
  • PHP/SQL including experience with a framework like Laravel (which is what they use).
  • Experienced with either React, Angular or VueJS (they mainly work with Vue).
  • TDD and mocking.
  • Git version control.

Any of these would be great:

  • You have experience building Progressive Web Apps.
  • Comfortable with Unix command line.
  • Knowledge of AWS, specifically EC2 and S3.

What you’ll be doing

Working in an agile environment you will be building the next generation of their platform using Laravel and VueJS with AWS based infrastructure. The working week will be varied and could include helping to architect and plan new features, pair programming or spending time learning new tech as a team. As a Senior they would like you to spend a little time with the mids-juniors in the team each week helping them, assessing training needs etc. There will be opportunities to work with progressive web apps and deepen your knowledge of the AWS stack and then pass on your knowledge to the team.
