What you'll be doing:

As the Research and Development Director, you will lead a team, researching and developing applications within their nice sector of highly innovative Biotechnology. Taking commercial product candidates from lab scale to small scale pilot runs, working with CMO’s and CRO’s to further scale-up, innovate novel solutions to bolster and create new product candidates, and aid development of new IP to add to the IP estate, and protect innovation advances.

What experience you’ll need to apply?

  • Strong R&D industry working as a Senior R&D Manager or R&D Director within a Biotechnology or Bioscience commercial product development environment.
  • A broad understanding of Molecular Biology.
  • Degree qualified or higher within a Biology related field.
  • Excellent leadership skills of medium sized teams, including complex work stream management, with effective influencing and coaching ability.
