Videographer

— Culture in a league of its own

Salary: Up to £22k
Location: Poole
Type: Permanent
Ref: 9435

Description

  • Join a friendly and collaborative team
  • Work on a variety of end-to-end video projects
  • Incredible working environment

Are you a videographer who’s happiest when filming and editing engaging content? Do you have a love for all things outdoors? Then this could be a great position for you. We’re helping an established sports product business in Poole find a Videographer to join their growing & ambitious team.

What you’ll be doing

Joining an existing creative & marketing team you’ll be a key player in developing the brands' video/film offering. Your role will be varied with plenty of different briefs to keep you on your toes. Day to day you’ll refine creative ideas, be on location shooting footage and editing slick video content for a plethora of social channels & digital platforms.

There’s no doubt you’ll be a natural born creative who thrives on problem-solving. You’ll be fearless in your approach and always be looking for new ways to make your videos stand out amongst the competition. A large majority of the work will be short, snappy videos but from time to time you’ll work on product videos, explainer videos and potentially short documentaries - plenty to keep you busy!

Although a videographer role, you’ll need to be a solid all-rounder with a working knowledge of video production processes. As well as your hands on duties, you’ll be well versed in directing and pre-production (so you’ll be no stranger to model release forms, call-sheets etc). It goes without saying that character fit is key for this one; ideally you’ll be an extrovert but nevertheless professional. As you’ll be working with groups of people from all walks of life, including sporting professionals, you’ll need to have some great communication skills.

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • A few years’ experience under your belt in a similar environment.
  • Be passionate about the extreme sports/motorsports sector.
  • A show reel of commercially delivered video work.
  • Solid working knowledge of Adobe Premier Pro/After Effects.
  • Video project management experience.
  • Not afraid to work outdoors come rain or shine.
  • Ideas led in your approach to everything you do.

What you’ll get in return for your experience

As well as a salary up to £22k you’ll get 25 days holiday (+bank holidays), staff discount, invites to social events, an opportunity to work with some truly amazing people and as much free fruit and biscuits as you can handle.

What's next?

Exciting huh? Apply today with your CV and portfolio and we can discuss in more detail.
