eCommerce Trading Analyst

This established multi-channel retailer has an opening for an analytically-minded individual to join their thriving eCommerce team. Reporting into the eCommerce Manager, your responsibility will be to analyse digital activities across online trading in order to provide relevant insights to the internal stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing
You will dive into the detail of eCommerce activities across the website, from analysing sales driven by banners and promotions, to looking at the key conversion drivers across product pages, and then work to optimise user journeys by identifying patterns in consumer behaviour.
From here, you will communicate these insights to the online trading and visual merchandising teams and work with them to plan and optimise the site for maximum performance during peak trading periods. This will involve building on product recommendation strategies and the development of new recommendation widgets.
In addition, you will monitor and report on agreed KPIs and forecast revenue for all planned activities relating to on-site optimisation, as well using past reports to shape future trading plans and new product launches.
Another aspect of your role will be to monitor competitor trading behaviours to drive improved performance across the website.
What experience you’ll need to apply
- Relevant experience within an eCommerce environment.
- Experience using a CMS.
- Experience using Google Analytics/ Fredhopper/ Peerius/ Coremetrics would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
