eCommerce Associate Channel Manager
— Innovative Market Leader
A well-known market leader, this business continues to grow with a strong pipeline of innovative products that they sell through multiple partners. This encompasses a mix of channels with eCommerce being a key contributor, but also having the scope for immense growth in the future. The Associate Channel Manager will work closely with these partners to improve the online customer experience and in turn drive conversions.
What you’ll be doing
While eCommerce is an important factor in the B2B relationship, this is a new step for the business to improve how customers engage with their products online. As such, the role is a new one which will report into the National Account Manager to sit within eCommerce, but will be part of the wider marketing team. Working alongside two other Associate Channel Managers, the main stakeholders will be the internal sales team and your clients who showcase the products on their respective websites.
As the products are being sold on a number of websites, your role will begin with understanding the needs of the target audience, and developing a plan that will enable the brand to be the go-to on that site. Quite a complex customer journey for sure, but this will add real value across the business given the scale of turnover. Key areas of focus will be utilising analytics, influencing content layout / SEO, managing the content on Amazon, ensuring an appropriate product layout with relevant imagery and also monitoring competitor activity. Ultimately, your goal will be to boost conversion rates so these aspects should tie in nicely to optimise the customer experience. Acquisition channels will also be important including social, SEO and PPC, however you will be able to utilise the resources in the communications team to run these campaigns if required.
What experience you’ll need
The ideal candidate will have worked for a brand led eCommerce business and have a strong understanding of all the factors mentioned above. As these are relevant to conversion rate optimisation, an eCommerce Manager or Online Merchandiser / Trader would be a nice fit. An understanding of digital marketing channels (PPC / SEO / social) would be ideal, although with the internal resource, hands on experience isn’t a pre-requisite. Beyond this a clear communicator with personable approach will help cultivate the multiple relationships required.

The salary on this one is £30-35k depending on experience, with benefits including a 15% bonus (contingent on business performance), pension (3-7%), healthcare, life cover and 25 days holiday.
