Senior Developer (C# / JS)

A progressive FinTech are continuing to bring new products to market and are fully equipped to interview & onboard people remotely. As part of their ongoing success they’re looking for a Senior Developer to focus on their customer-facing web offering. With a quality-driven approach and an established team of techies to integrate into, there’s constant scope for progressing your career and learning new & emerging tech.

What skills you’ll need

  • Proven background in C#.Net, including WCF/REST services & MVC.
  • Extensive JavaScript knowledge with at least one modern library (React, Angular, Vue). 
  • Comfortable with HTML5, CSS3. 
  • Ability to adopt a “DevOps” approach, CI/CD, automated builds etc.
  • Awareness of MS Azure and VSTS/AzureDevOps would be preferred.
  • Eye for UI & UX, appreciation for data analysis & multivariate testing. 
  • Agile/Scrum/Lean/Kanban.

What you’ll be doing

The primary focus for this role is to work at the very front of the business’ range of customer-facing websites. There are a variety of both on-going and brand-new products to be involved in, your expertise will be utilised to discover and improve overall user experience through the use of clean, reusable code. You’ll play a senior role in an Agile team so communication is key; it’s expected that you’ll be comfortable mentoring more junior developers in the team, offering advice on technical direction & strategy where necessary. This team are moving towards a “DevOps” style excellence standard so any expertise you can offer here would be valued highly.
