We’re looking for a UX Researcher to join a well-known and well-loved financial services brand. This is a maternity cover contract for 12 months, currently remote but when restrictions allow some office-based work, likely to be around 1-2 days a week but this is flexible based on need.

What you’ll be doing

In this role you’ll be joining a centralised team that focusses on delivering digital excellence to customers. You’ll work closely with a team of fellow Researchers, UX Designers, Optimisation Specialists, Innovation Experts and in-house Developers.

The business has always had a strong focus on the customer, so you’ll be joining a team that understands the value of putting the user first. However, you will be connecting with stakeholders of all kinds, running workshops and research programmes with those that already understand what you do, as well as new teams that might not. You’ll be working with a pro-active team that strives to build understanding and practice across a large and complex organisation.

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • Previous experience in a research focussed UX role.
  • Comfortable shaping research programmes and leading research activities.
  • A good understanding of and experience in both qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Plenty of experience in usability testing.
  • Confident facilitating empathy and discovery workshops.
  • Great people skills, able to collaborate with and educate people of all backgrounds in research practice.
  • Experience in analytics tools like Google Analytics, Decibel insights would be great.
