  • Work with over 200 blue-chip clients to help them advance towards their sustainability goals, contributing to Net Zero emission goals and increased environmental awareness.
  • Communicate with a range of stakeholders to ensure companies from all sectors are able to do their bit for the planet.

I am working with one of the UK’s leading multi-disciplinary consultancies in their search to add an ESG Consultant to the ESG team!
The client works with over 200 blue-chip clients, including Pret, FatFace, and Krispy Kreme. Having been previously recognised as one of the fastest growing companies in the UK, the client are looking for an ESG Consultant to work with clients and support their journey to Net Zero.
This is a great opportunity for those with a passion for ESG and Net Zero. Join a diverse team in a variable role, looking at ESG impact reports, conducting Net Zero baseline calculations, identifying carbon reduction plans, recommending ESG improvements, and more! Communicate with a range of existing and new clients spanning 25 sectors to ensure that ESG is considered, regardless of industry.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Consulting with the senior management of new and existing clients to help them understand and document areas of their companies ESG, supporting their journey to Net Zero.
  • Not only will you advise on ESG targets, but you will also provide a roadmap of recommendations to guide clients towards ESG goal success.
  • You will be writing annual ESG Impact Reports and sharing them with relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in the calculation of Net Zero baseline emissions and the creation of carbon reduction plans.
  • Score client reports and benchmark them against a number of ESG metrics, alongside the provision of an annual action plan programme.
  • Building strong and trusted relationships with client board and senior management teams.

What experience you’ll need to apply:
This role is a perfect fit for a candidate who has:

  • A passion for ESG and Net Zero work.
  • Experience working as a consultant.
  • A working understanding and some experience of ESG; however, this does have to be in all aspects of ESG.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • An undergraduate university qualification, preferentially within a relevant subject such as environmental science, or sustainability.
  • An understanding of Microsoft Excel.

What you’ll get in return for your experience:

The salary banding is £40,000-£50,000, with statutory pension, and 23 days of holiday per annum (plus Bank Holidays). The role is hybrid, with a 50-50 split between home working and the office in Hersham, Surrey.
