One of the World's best known and loved brands are looking for a temporary resource in their marketing analytics team. As a result of upcoming projects, the team requires someone to come in on a short contract to work through their databases and spot/correct errors prior to modelling. Whilst this is only a short-term position, it's a crucial element of this business' future in marketing analytics, and you'll be able to put some really impressive experience on your CV. This role would be suited to those who have either just finished or are about to finish their degree. Or you may be in the middle of a masters and looking for some work over the summer period.
What you'll be doing
From day one you'll be interrogating data from a variety of sources within the business, identifying root causes to why errors are occuring, and looking for ways to solve these. You'll make notes of issues and propose checks and rules using SQL, as well as reporting on issues with data quality. Most of your time will be spent in SQL, but you'll also have exposure to JIRA and Confluence.
What experience you'll need
- Strong analytical skills
- SQL experience at intermediate level (e.g. joins and writing queries)
- Academic background in an analytical/numerate subject (e.g. maths, statistics, science)
