One of the South West's most loved charities is on the lookout for an experienced Database Analyst to join the team on a minimum 6 month contract, whilst they embark on a large digital change programme. This role is focused on their Single Customer View (SCV) implementation, where you will work cross-functionally with other teams in the business to ensure that data capture is of the highest quality and is able to yield a good return on investment for the marketing team. You'll be part of a small yet very experienced team, which will sit centrally to the rest of the business, and will require you to be comfortable working with stakeholders as well as having a presence across all business functions.
What you'll be doing

You'll be managing a Data Integration Specialist, although line management experience is not necessary. Your core focus in this role will be to ensure that the new Single Customer View database provides the right level of data on customers/supporters/members, and you'll achieve this by ensuring all data is fit for purpose, and that the data infrastructure promotes this. You'll be continually liaising with marketing and IT teams as well as regional teams to test and improve data capture and data management processes.
What experience you'll need to apply for this role
- Strong understanding of marketing databases
- Working knowledge of Amazon Redshift or similar
- Understanding of data architecture and data flow within large organisations
- Proficient user of SQL
What you'll get in return for your experience
You'll be rewarded with a generous salary and benefits package which can be discussed at application stage.
