Machine Learning Algorithm Trainer

Excellent opportunity to gain commercial experience on a machine learning project at a global technology firm who are adopting best in class technology. Work alongside a team of data scientists and customer insight specialists on cutting edge projects. 

What you’ll be doing 

Support the build a customer feedback AI engine. The engine needs to be fed with categorisations to help it learn how to categorise the verbatim data, all the comments customer surveys, social listening and other online feedback. This assignment is to classify and categorize customer feedback text and phrases to train the model so it can identify sentiment from the wording customers use so the company can see what the general feedback is on their products.

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • General understanding of machine learning 
  • A keen interest in AI & machine learning projects
  • Commercial experience working in an analytical, IT or customer experience department
  • Strong command of the English language and syntax
  • Solid communication skills

What you’ll get in return for your experience  

This is a 2 month contract paying up to £225 per day (dependent on experience)

This business has gone from strength to strength and is now one of the biggest eCommerce players in the South West. They are expanding their Digital Product Team and have created a new opportunity for an eCommerce Testing Executive to own and execute a roadmap of testing initiatives across their portfolio of websites. What you’ll be doing Day to day, you’ll be liaising with internal and external suppliers to manage the testing workflow from hypothesis, to design ideation, test planning, and communication of results to the business. Key tasks will be writing detailed test briefs, (A/B, MVT and UAT), ensuring that these are delivered on time, ensuring a smooth QA process, and following up test conclusion with discussions for further iteration. You’ll also be responsible for keeping relevant stakeholders informed at every stage of the process, and ensuring 3rd party development spend stays on budget.  What experience you’ll need to apply Experience of A/B and Multivariate Testing. Ability to use analytics tools.   Experience of eCommerce Merchandising or Personalisation is ideal.  Knowledge of HTML, Javascript and CSS is advantageous. Experience of Project Management ‘Can do’ attitude and the ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
