Were looking for a Senior UX Researcher to join an international technology brand in Wiltshire. 

What youll be doing

As a Senior UX Researcher you'll report into the head of UX and support the brands vision for designing and joining up a formal user research process for the business. Currently research is done through a combination of ad hoc guerrilla testing, remote testing and lab based usability trials as well as A/B testing and surveys. 

This role will be sat amongst a wider digital experience community within the business and work with UX designers as well as other researchers. The role will work on the global customer facing website, their various international marketplaces, social channels and customer facing mobile applications.

This role will interact with many teams across the business so stakeholder management will be key; we're looking for an out and out user research specialist. The ideal candidate will be someone from a product environment and who has worked at a senior level; someone with hands on user research experience but ultimately someone comfortable leading on process, practice and with the ambition to grow capability for the brand. 

What experience youll need to apply

  • Previous experience at a senior level within a user research role.
  • Evidence of delivering quantitative and qualitative research for digital products and services.
  • Fantastic stakeholder management experience; a good communicator and able to collaborate with a wide variety of skill sets.  
  • Comfortable presenting recommendations and delivering reports to senior members of the business.
  • Able to work in a fast paced and fast changing environment.

We’re looking for a UX / UI Designer to join an entrepeneaurial team in Wiltshire. What you’ll be doing In this role you’ll join a small but growing team of technical experts designing B2B and B2B2C web and native applications. This is an exciting time to join, the product is already in use and some major new customers have been acquired leading to millions in new revenue. As it stands, you’ll be working with the product owner, a small team of senior developers and a QA lead. Up until now design and development has been outsourced to get the product in good shape, the next step is bringing everything in-house.As part of a small team the UX/UI Designer will have a multifaceted role and support the senior developers and product owner in creating the best user experience possible across all products. The product will be used by a wide variety of users and you’ll be working on features that handle payments, IoT integration, insight, analytics and logistics for their customers. Getting in at ground level you’ll be instrumental in shaping the visual design of the product and in defining the approach to research and testing. With a product in its infancy, the approach is likely to be lean and evolve over time and you won’t need to be an expert in research from day one. The founder is experienced in design too so you’ll have support and the space allowed to grow into a leadership role further down the line. What you’ll need to be considered Experience of working in a multidisciplinary design role encompasses user interface design and user experience practices A portfolio of digital products, native app is useful but responsive and mobile first as a minimum. Experience of wireframing, prototyping, storyboarding. Proven experience creating style guides, pattern libraries and ideally design systems. Any experience of working Agile beneficial. Some exposure to user testing and user research hugely beneficial. Confident with an array of modern design tools (e.g Sketch, Adobe CC, Figma etc).
