Communications Officer

— Varied Comms Role

ADLIB are working with a fantastic Swindon business looking to add an experienced Communications Officer in to their existing Comms team.  This is a highly varied and hands on role across internal and external comms with both B2B and B2C messaging. 

What you'll be doing

Working with the Communications Manager you will play a key role in helping develop and deliver the comms strategy, write press releases for local and national news, handle media and press enquiries and write copy for information booklets, magazines and for the website.  You will need a creative eye and show your ability to manage the design, layout and production of in house and corporate publications, marketing collateral and magazines whilst contributing with your interesting and engaging copy.

You will assist other business units to deliver marketing campaigns including the production of promotional material, copywriting, web content, e-newsletters and display materials. 

Working across numerous social platforms you will generate content, develop and promote the brand through these external channels, and you will develop internal communications through both digital and hard copy.  

What experience you'll need to apply

  • Previous experience within a similar comms role
  • Excellent content/copywriting skills
  • Proven editing and proof-reading skills
  • Good design and layout experience for printed material/collateral
  • A strong understanding of digital technologies
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Full driving license and a car
  • Experience within a B2B environment would be ideal
  • Professional qualifications such as CIPR or relevant degree would be desirable

    Digital Brand Manager

    — 8 months FTC to PERM

    A lovely, specialist consumer brand. The office is based in Somerset, c/ 40 mins drive from Bath and c/ 50 mins from Bristol. This role will have an input into a wide range of digital marketing activities.    A fantastic opportunity became available to join an established business FMCG business in Somerset that is currently going through an exciting period of change and growth. What you’ll be doing The successful candidate for this role will report into Marketing Manager and will work closely with the Sales and Global teams. The purpose of this role is to overlook digital marketing communication activities across social, email, paid advertising, web, eCommerce sites and digital campaigns. The postholder will be responsible for planning, implementing and executing activities.  What experience you’ll need to apply •    Previous digital experience and preferably including some eCommerce. •    Ability to successfully implement paid search campaigns across Google and Facebook. •    Strong analytical skills. •    Experience in content marketing.  What you’ll get in return for your experience A starting salary of c/ £30-40k DOE+ benefits.
