Hugely successful international tech provider are looking for two experienced Senior Front-End Developers to help with a huge project to re-platform their digital services. With a digital portfolio of over 90 websites, applications, portals and platforms there’s a huge opportunity to be a part of a big programme of work using the latest tech.
What skills you’ll be needing
- You’ll need to have some great examples of work to show and talk confidently about cross-browser and cross-device issues with an ability to communicate well with a non-technical audience.
- They only hire developers who are close to the action when it comes to new technology, so you’ll need to have a real passion for the industry (reading blogs, building your own projects, open source contribution etc).
What you’ll be doing
There’s a wide remit for this role which is great news if you love variety. You’ll be helping to deliver large-scale projects, deploy important changes across the sites, help to roll out a new toolset (including Hybris and Adobe Experience Manager) and also get involved with building greenfield apps such as their phone accelerometer web app used to launch a product recently. You’ll be working with Flight.js and will be asked to get up to speed with this quickly and encouraged to come up with creative solutions alongside a friendly team of developers, testers and designers. You’ll be solving a wide range of simple and complex problems that will require you to think out of the box, work at pace and take ownership for the quality of the amazing solutions you’ll be producing.
