User Experience Executive

We’re looking for UX specialists to join one of the UK’s most cherished brands. This role is full time, 5 days a week but there is the option to work 4 days if necessary. Initially a 7 month contract on offer but very good chance of extending.                                   

What you’ll be doing

Joining the UX and content department you’ll work alongside a dedicated team of UX designers, researchers and content specialists. This role will focus on delivering a user centred experience across their main public facing website and mobile app.

As an organisation they’ve been going for more than 120 years; across that time their members have grown in number (to over 5.5 million today) and changed how they interact with the brand online. This role is the chance to work for a genuinely good cause and get under the skin of a rich and diverse user base. 

You’ll help to improve key journeys across educational / informational content pages, members areas / accounts pages and even eCommerce touchpoints. 

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • Previous experience within a UX role.
  • Have worked with content heavy websites or applications.
  • Able to create low fidelity wireframes.
  • Exceptional communication skills, comfortable working with those from marketing, UX and content / editorial writing.
  • Exposure to agile project management principles.

This is an initial 24 month contract but has the possibility of being extended.  What you’ll be doing The role involves managing and overseeing the migration of digital content to a new content management system, as well as implementing improvements and enhancing systems and processes for creating and maintaining content. You’ll take the lead in ensuring that content on multiple websites is coherent, consistent, effective and optimised for discoverability, navigation, SEO and UX. What you'll be doing Reporting into the Digital Creative Head you will work closely with a talented team of designers, copywriters and content strategists to deliver digital campaigns to a global customer base. Embedded within the internal marketing agency, and with a close relationship to data and analytics the Senior Digital Creative sits within the Integrated Campaigns team, delivering campaigns across all channels including web, digital advertising, social and CRM. Working with a big name brand means well-defined guidelines but you will be expected to push both the creative and technical boundaries of digital campaign, knowing how to get the most out of the brand and always pushing for innovation. This role won't involve direct line management but were looking for someone at a senior level, a confident leader who's able to get the most out of more junior members of the team. You'll be an active player in senior stakeholder discussions, confident when presenting your work and able to articulate your design decisions.   What experience you'll need to apply Conceptual in experience with good design skills.
