A progressive, technology-first business in Bristol are looking for a Senior Software Engineer as they go through a rapid period of growth due to continued success and recent acquisitions.  What you'll be doing As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be influential in supporting the integration of several systems, requiring you to work with a combination of serverless technologies. You will work in a cross-functional team with a focus on integrating products that will impact over a million people across the UK. This involves owning the project from inception, advocating continuous improvement and building new features with scalability and resilience in mind. The role involves building & scaling distributed systems and ensuring that the micro-service platforms are written in the most suitable language for each product (all connected on an event stream) so working autonomously is important. You’ll also be covering things like backlogs, data migrations and other more general development projects, constantly using progressive technology with scope to integrate emerging tech into their wider stack.  What skills you'll need  3 years' experience as a Software/Data Engineer or Backend Developer Experience with streaming technologies e.g. Kinesis/Kafka/similar  Scala/Java/Python Understanding of cloud technology; specifically AWS or Google but open to other platforms as well.  Knowledge of deployment automation, CI/CD & containerisation. I’m currently working with an exciting tech start-up looking for a new Data Scientist to join their team to help support their ambitious plans for the future. What you’ll be doing You’ll primarily be tasked with supporting the development and rollout of an analytics suite across the business ensuring the teams across the business are able to get the most out of their data. You’ll be a part of a range of exciting projects and use-cases across the business using Machine Learning to deploy models into production. They have really exciting ideas in the pipeline and you’ll play a major part making these a reality.  What experience you’ll need to apply At least 2 years’ experience working commercially as a Data Scientist.     Fantastic B2C eCommerce clients Vibrant & supportive culture.   Part office-based, part-remote.  A creative, specialist digital agency in Bath is looking for a Paid Media Manager to join their growing team. You’ll need to have hands-on experience of delivering Paid Social campaigns and ideally also Paid Search. The agency works with some incredible B2C clients who you’ll deal with on a day-to-day basis, from taking briefs to presenting results. The team is fun, high-performing, and very supportive, so if you’re looking to develop your career within Digital Marketing, this could be the place for you.   What you’ll be doing  As a Paid Media Manager you’ll work alongside the Head of Paid Social on all things planning and buying; making sure client campaigns are reaching the right people, in the right place, at the right time. You’ll be responsible for planning & executing innovative campaigns with the support of an in-house creative team, whether that’s driving direct response or launching new brands into the market. Your daily tasks include media planning, ad buying, optimising performance, reporting, and guiding agency-wide paid media strategy. You’ll be working on core channels for clients across Facebook & Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, Tik Tok and more. What experience you’ll need to apply You have hands-on experience running campaigns through Facebook Ads Manager for B2C brands. Exposure to other platforms including but not limited to Snapchat, Pinterest, Microsoft Advertising, Google, Twitter, Spotify, TikTok is preferable, but not essential.  You’ll have one or more years’ experience working with paid media (agency-side preferable, but not essential)  You’ll have experience running and scaling eCommerce accounts using Paid Social & Paid Search, and an aptitude for driving business growth.  Analysing accounts to achieve client objectives, utilising your knowledge, creativity, problem-solving and evaluation of results. Confidence with numbers & data analysis.  Experience with Google Analytics, Facebook Attribution, Google Data Studio & Google Tag Manager are all highly preferred, but proficiency in every platform isn’t essential.  Curious and adaptable: it’s a fast moving industry and social advertising even more so, products change and adapt weekly and you must be happy with keeping up to date with changes and learning about how they may impact output.  What you’ll get in return for your experience   A salary of £25-32k is on offer, alongside some great company benefits. What you’ll be doing  You’ll be responsible for supporting clients with the development, deployment and management of online campaigns and their corresponding digital assets. destinations.  Using Google 360 and DoubleClick platforms, you will directly manage paid media campaigns and deliver them across social, search and display channels. You’ll also track performance, produce reports outlining relevant insights, and optimise these campaigns accordingly.  In addition, you’ll manage the process of uploading creative into trafficking platforms and the setup of tracking tags. This role will initially focus on the successful launch of a new website and will then widen to include other digital initiatives and channels. This is a highly collaborative position, in which you'll also work with the Campaigns Team with to track and analyse marketing campaigns across multiple channels. What you’ll be doing  Experienced in using analytics and A/B testing to drive actionable insight, your time will initially focus on successful customer adoption of a new website and constant improvement of this to achieve key launch KPI’s. Once launched, you will quickly move onto ongoing optimisation of the site for key customer journeys and on-site goals, testing any enhancements and fixes and identifying further improvements based on on-site customer behaviour. There is a programme of further website development work planned and you will use insight and analytics to make recommendations, challenge and refine proposals.  With a successful track record in customer acquisition you will propose and implement a plan with the potential to cover SEO, influencer marketing, online advertising and/or lead capture where there is a clear commercial benefit.  Supported by the Campaigns team for any content requirements for your digital plans, you will work collaboratively with them, sharing best practice and briefing on content requirements to achieve your goals. Furthermore, this business is keen to stay ahead of the curve in their use of digital, so you will be alert to new technologies and opportunities that will help them achieve its growth targets and strategic aims.  What experience you’ll need to apply Demonstrable success within a similar Digital Performance, Digital Analyst, or eCommerce Merchandising role.   Experience using analytics tools and testing to optimise a website and drive conversions.  An understanding of digital acquisition channels such as SEO and PPC.  Customer-centric approach and excellent communications skills. Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise large projects and foresee problems before they arise. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to logically.
