We’re looking for a Content Designer to join the User Centred Design team for a top Bristol financial services client. This role will be remote initially, but Bristol based long term. What you’ll be doing As a Content Designer you’ll be part of the centralised User Experience team. Day to day you will plan, write and design content for the brands main customer facing website and across their native app. You’ll work collaboratively with specialist user researchers, UX designers and a wider development team to ensure content is created with the user in mind and based on real world insight. Working in financial services means understanding complex language, regulations and processes unique to the sector, you’ll have a knack for making the complex simple and for communicating concisely. The User Centred Design team has grown substantially over the last few years, so you’ll be joining a business that understands the value of customer insight well and encourages research. You’ll work with a diverse team, many from outside of the Financial Services world who have brought unique and valuable insights to the team. What experience you’ll need Excellent writing and communication skills, preferably with a relevant degree. Previous experience of working in a similar role; creating content and working closely with agile user experience teams. Any experience working in financial services or within heavily regulated industries beneficial. Research and insight led with previous experience of using analytics data to plan and make content decisions. What you’ll be doing The team fundamentally believe that quality education should be available to children from all backgrounds and provided in a way that’s both engaging and fun for students. They’ve created a platform for both students and teachers that is flexible and effective. The start-up has been up and running for around 2 years and have just achieved a round of funding giving them a clear roadmap of growth for the year ahead. They currently have an illustrator and creative designer in-house and are now looking for a Digital Product Designer to join the team and lead on UI and UX across the app. This is an opportunity to get in at ground level and help shape a product that will make a difference to children’s lives around the world, effectively making quality education available to everyone, no matter their background or financial situation. The team is small, so you’ll be working alongside a tight knit but growing team of developers, as well as closely with the founders. You’ll lead on all UX and visual design activities for the IOS app but ideally be able to support with the wider brand identity and marketing from time to time. As well as being hands on you’ll mentor and lead the junior designer in their work. This role can be done remote long term with the odd trip to the offices in West London. What you’ll be doing Though a small team this start-up has the backing of a major tech innovator and the support of an experienced network of businesses. Having spent the last two years acquiring customers and developing its brand, they’re now looking for a Design Lead to support the apps next stage of growth and reach commercial maturity with the product. As the Design Lead for a small team you’ll be hands on throughout the design process conducting research, creating protypes to test with your users and delivering polished user interfaces. Working closely with the founders and the development team you will ensure the user and business goals can be married throughout the design process. This is a great opportunity to lead on design for an exciting product that’s really going places. It’s likely that before long after joining you’ll have the opportunity to grow the team too. What you’ll be doing  Sitting within an established and well-resourced Marketing team, you’ll report into the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and work closely alongside the Senior Web Optimisation Executive.   Your day-to-day responsibilities will include updating websites, creating and populating new web pages, editing and creating content in the CMS and copywriting for other digital channels where necessary.  A key part of your role will be to ensure all digital content is optimised for SEO, ultimately in order to boost the website rankings in Google. What you'll be doing The animation supervisor will be working closely with technical, management and animation teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality. We’re looking for an experienced animator who knows motion capture exceptionally well and using their hands-on background can run, train and workflow a team of 3D animators. We’re looking for a proven leader here with a good track record in the industry. You’ll be supporting the delivery of high volume, fast turnaround animation projects for AAA video games titles. You’ll know the world of TV, film or video games well and how to motivate a team of animators to create their best work. Leading on projects you’ll be responsible for workflow as well as growing and managing a pool of freelancers. You’ll spend time with clients too, managing expectations and ensuring commercial agreements are met on a day-today basis. Using your hands-on expertise, you’ll train animators on re-targeting and quality processes and be responsible for quality control on each project. What experience you’ll need Proven experience in a supervisor role, preferably on AAA video games projects. A strong track record in delivering high volume, fast turnaround animation projects.
