    Tagging Analyst

    Work for one of the best eCommerce specialising consultancies. Join an expanding team which has been achieving consistent success. Be involved with technical work which will have long-lasting impact and value. What you’ll be doing: You will mainly be dealing with the set-up, configuration and maintenance of analytics using Tag Management Systems (TMS). The two main tools for this will be Tealium or Google Tag Manager (GTM), although others would be considered. Experience using Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics to review the impact of your work will also be key. What experience you’ll need to apply: Essential that you are highly proficient with GTM or Tealium. Google or Adobe analytics is also essential. Experience working with the following tools or methodologies is highly preferable: BigQuery Tableau, Power Bi, Qlikview A/B Testing HTML JavaScript Senior stakeholder and client-facing exposure would also be a key component of this role. It is important to highlight that not all of the above skills will be essential, but in some cases are preferable. What you’ll get in return for your experience: Salary is up to £60,000 but there is flexibility for exceptional candidates. Work in central London in a highly modern office with great facilities. I’m working with an impressive media and tech company with a focus on gaming who are in the process of relocating their digital acquisition team from San Francisco to Bristol. These guys operate on a global scale, producing some world class mobile games. What you’ll be doing Your role will focus on supporting the digital acquisition team in their mission of growing the company’s user base across an exciting portfolio of games. You’ll get stuck in running advertising campaigns end to end via Facebook & Google, in addition to analysing and tracking results and communicating these to the wider marketing and game teams. You’ll play a key role in a team of specialists, taking a deep dive in to data, analysing cohort spending, traffic channel evaluation and more. Essentially you will be the vital link between marketing and analytics. What experience you’ll need It goes without saying you’ll be self-motivated and results orientated with first rate communication and interpersonal skills. You’ll be highly analytical with a numerical mind-set. Ability to work independently and juggle multiple projects at any one time. Keen interest and strong knowledge base in digital marketing. Extensive experience using Excel/Google Spreadsheets including data analysis and pivot tables. Exposure to Python, SQL and Tableau would be ideal. Passion for mobile games would be beneficial. I’m working with an impressive media and tech company with a focus on mobile gaming who are in the process of relocating their digital acquisition team from the US to Bristol. These guys operate on a global scale, producing some world class mobile games. What you’ll be doingYour role will centre around growing the company’s user base across an exciting portfolio of games. You’ll utilise your digital acquisition skills, optimising targeted ad campaigns on Facebook and Google, alongside your analytical expertise, building reports from extensive sets of data in order to identify further optimisation opportunities. It’ll be up to you to analyse and track results and communicate these effectively to the wider marketing and game teams.  Nurturing and driving relationships with key partners, including Facebook, Google and Apple, will also be key. Ultimately they’re looking for someone with a blend of creativity and analytical skills with the ability to build rapport easily and develop strong, long lasting relationships.  What experience you’ll need to apply•    At least 2 years experience in a similar role. •    Statistical programming experience with R or Python.•    The ability to pull data from SQL databases as well as visualize it with a tool like Tableau or Power BI.•    Understanding of pricing online media (CPA, CPM, CPC).•    Comfortable managing large marketing budgets. •    Strong digital acquisition skills across multiple channels.•    Passion for mobile games would also be beneficial.  What you’ll get in return for your experience There’s a competitive salary on offer here, entirely dependent on experience but in the region of £35K - £45K. What experience you’ll need to apply: Data visualisation experience: Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, etc. Strong SQL skills to source, retrieve, and manipulate data. Excellent communication skills to relay your findings. Experience or knowledge with predictive modeling, machine learning, optimization algorithms, clustering, segmentation, etc. Experience using and administrating relational databases. Previous agency experience would be preferable. The company would consider training a junior candidate or bringing in someone with the existing experience A positive attitude and being up for a challenge. It is important to highlight that not all of the above skills will be essential, but in some cases are preferable. What you’ll get in return for your experience: £25,000 - £30,000 for a junior candidate in need of development. £35,000 - £40,000 for a senior candidate who does not need training.
