    Junior Business Analyst

Cool, modern offices in the heart of Bristol, easily commutable from Bath, Newport, Cardiff, Cheltenham, Chippenham and Swindon (Fully remote currently). We’re working with a forward-thinking Financial Services client to appoint a Junior Business Analyst into the Change and Transformation team to work on a variety of exciting IT change projects.   What you’ll be doing As part of a collaborative, friendly and talented Change team you will be working on both internal and external business and IT change projects where no two days are the same. Your role will play an important role in the overall delivery of projects and continuous improvement of processes with a real focus on IT systems and architecture and data-led projects. The business is growing and there’s never been a better time to join as they’re undergoing a large transformation project, involving data warehouse, onboarding a new supplier for all of the IT infrastructure, building a new data model, source data processes and reporting. Your role will have interaction with this large scale project whilst also being able to take the lead and be hands on with smaller, new change projects such as a new telephony system. being very hands on with a variety of important change projects.   What experience you’ll need Previous experience as a Business, Data, Insight, Change Analyst for example within a commercial environment. Experience of IT/Technical or change and transformation projects desirable. An understanding of Agile ways of working. Ability to build solutions to meet business needs and processes. Ability to gather requirements, document and manage testing. Bright, enthusiastic and keen to learn and develop. Experience of a process improvement environment. Solutions orientated approach to problem-solving. Strong communication skills, ability to manage stakeholders at all levels and work with cross-functional teams.  Financial Services experience would be desirable, but not a deal breaker. We’re looking for a Product Owner to join one of Manchester’s top digital agencies. What you’ll be doing In this role you’ll be joining a specialist digital agency that provides digital strategy, design, build, integration and optimisation. You will bring product vision and value to a client base that spans the health, e-commerce, financial services and technology industries, amongst others. As a Product Owner you will be involved throughout the entire project life cycle; from concept to delivery and support. Working closely with clients from the very beginning you’ll run and facilitate workshops in order to understand business requirements, ambitions, pain points and user needs. During build you’ll define sprint goals and prioritise and manage the development backlog, ultimately ensuring client and business goals are met throughout the process. You’ll support your clients with UAT, run product training sessions and identify additional opportunities through your consultative approach.  As for the team, you’ll be working closely with an experienced group of project managers, Developers, QA’s, UX and design specialists. The agency has multiple locations so although you’ll be the only product owner in this particular office you’ll be part of a wider community of product specialists and a bigger agency group. What you’ll need to be considered Previous experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or a similar role. Confident working throughout the whole development lifecycle. Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels, getting value from senior conversations and valuable business insight. Be resourceful, able to make the most of client insight and research. Previous experience in running client workshops. Experience of working closely with developers as well as UX and design specialists. Consultative in your approach; able to spot opportunities in customer roadmaps, product enhancements and training.
