    Head of Product

    Head of Product role joining a SaaS business. Remote role with occasional office visits (Bristol and London). Salary is in the region of £70k - £80k. We are working closely with a SaaS business that are recruiting a brand new role – Head of Product to manage and launch a brand new product. What you’ll be doing As Head of Product, you will be responsible for defining and owning the strategic product roadmap and end-to-end delivery of complex development projects. You will deliver strategic roadmaps, working in cross-functional teams, closely with tech and managing external stakeholders to ensure that everyone is working to the same goal. You will be supported by a small team Developers and a Project Manager. You will work closely with the Directors and Head of Tech, looking at the future vision for the business, the shape of product department in line with their ambitious growth targets. This role will suit you if you’re creative and can bring a lot of ideas to the table, in this role you will have the opportunity to have creative freedom, shape and define the product offering and grow a team. What experience you’ll need Previous experience in a product role is essential; whether that’s as a Head of Product, Senior Product Manager, Senior Product Owner, Product Lead or Product Director. Digital product strategy experience (strong user centred design/customer focus) gained within a SaaS business. Strong communication skills, comfortable managing stakeholders at all levels and knowing when to push back (gently). Prior team management experience, coaching, mentoring etc. The role is remote and will require occasional travel to Bristol and London (quarterly). Financial and budgetary management skills with a strong commercial acumen.     Product Owner x2

    Two Product Owner opportunities joining a large tech business. eCommerce business, working on projects launching in to global markets.  Initial 12 month fixed term contracts. We’re searching for two experienced Product Owners to join a global innovator based in the heart of Bristol on a 12 month FTC. What you’ll be doing Working as part of a large agile product team you will be reporting in to the Head of Product and managing web-based products. With the customers at the heart of the business your focus will be on market shaping activity to give them the best experience possible throughout the full lifecycle; as soon as they land on to the website, putting together bundles, checking out, payment through to post-payment. The company are known for innovation and will be disrupting the market with new ways of reach customers, from customisation of products through to using virtual experience and much more. The budgets are multi-million pound and you will be managing stakeholders internal and externally, it's a truly exciting digital programme of work and you will play a key part of the team developing the product roadmap, prioritising the product backlog, using insights from user testing and continuinuously improving their digital products (also app based).   What experience you’ll need You will bring experience of working in product as either a Product Owner or a Product Manager. eCommerce experience is essential. B2C, customer experience, user testing, user centered design/ customer centric approach. Website/web based product experience. If you have experience working with global markets/ multi-lingual products that would be amazing but isn't a strict requirement. You will know your way around processes and implementing governance. Ability to translate product concepts and ideas into functional requirements.  Agile experience.  Excellent written and verbal communications skills, able to communicate in business and technical terms Experience in working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously.  Strong interest/ exposure to strategic product development. What you’ll be doing As a Product Manager within a start-up, you will lead on one of their newest (yet already successful) eCommerce product. You will lead a talented cross-functional team made up of developers, designers and suppliers all on the same mission to mature a B2B marketplace model that is key to the products next phase of growth.  This is an end-to-end product role, you will be responsible for setting the product vision, developing to deliver growth targets for 2021 and beyond. You will play a lead role in the business, due to the nature of working for a start-up this will present future opportunities to work on other areas and products in the business that will be at different stages of the product lifecycle.  What experience you’ll need You will be an experienced Product Owner or Product Manager and ideally, your experience will be gained for a start-up or a company with an innovative approach to work, constantly wanting to challenge the market and push boundaries. Experience of bringing B2B products to market. Web and app-based product experience. Comfortable with analysing large data sets. Any eCommerce product experience would be desirable.  Strong communication skills as you’ll be working closely with the development, UX, project teams and managing stakeholders. Agile experience. A passion for tech, agile methods, updated technologies and a keen interest in implementing knowledge into the team. A natural leader, a good communicator and able to be the go-to person. What you’ll be doing As Technical Business Analyst you will be working very closely with the development teams and Product Managers to ensure a speedy and quality service to clients. You will be working within a dedicated squad and take ownership of your product roadmap. Along with supporting the engineering team, you will be working with in an Agile/Scrum environment and working directly with Product Managers scoping user stories and resolving any blockers and helping with product related issues. What experience you’ll need to apply   Previous experience as a Technical Business Analyst working with in a product team. Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams. Well versed with the entire software development lifecycle. Previous experience working with software development teams.  High energy personality and action orientated.  Highly organised with a strong eye for detail.  Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
