    Senior Chemical Engineer

    A rapidly growing biotech that is making a real impact  Be responsible for the company wide activities Based in Yorkshire from February 2021 This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Senior Chemical Engineer in a rapidly growing Biotech company that using food waste to develop bioplastics and innovative materials. You will be involved in managing and tracking the technical team’s performance to ensure KPI’s and business goals are met. The role will be based in Yorkshire from February 2021 but until then will be based either remotely or in London.  What you’ll be doing As a Senior Chemical Engineer, you will join the senior leadership team taking responsibility of the companies’ activities to develop the product from the lab to deployment. You will need to be knowledgeable about chemical engineering and have worked in a senior position before. What experience you’ll need to apply? A PhD/MSc in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering Experience working with chemical materials Working in a senior or lead role or experience managing/mentoring a lab team Experience with computational modelling Desired: Having assisted in the deployment of new products What you’ll get in return for your experience: You will be a key player in the success of the company that is looking to rapidly expand over the next couple of years.     Product Owner opportunity to work for a successful start-up in Bristol. Manage and scale products to enter new markets globally. Competitive salary in the region of £40k - £50k. One of the Europe’s fastest growing start-ups are recruiting two Product Owners to join the team to help them as they take their mission global.  What you’ll be doing As Product Owner you will be responsible for designing, developing and owning the product roadmap and prioritising development efforts to enable business to drive proactive and very targeted growth for their customers. You’ll be translating features and developments in the product roadmap into detailed technical specifications and will own the delivery of this through guiding the activity of the development functions. This is an end-to-end Product Owner role – so you will be doing everything you’d expect from Agile rituals, through to creating user stories and test cases, through to managing and reporting on the backlog and progress against the roadmap with the help of the Head of Product who you’ll be reporting into. What experience you’ll need You will currently be working as a Product Owner, ideally for a start-up or in a similar environment. Agile software development experience. Curious and inquisitive – asking the right questions unearthing the best possible solutions. Analytical mind and passionate about customers and building the best possible user experience, monitoring your metrics and see whether you’re delivering.  Strong communication skills as this role is client-facing and involves a lot of stakeholder management. Strong interest/ exposure to strategic product development. Rare 100% remote/ work from home role for an experienced Product Manager to join a digital consultancy that are growing from strength to strength. They’re market leaders and have ambitious growth plans - this is where you come and help drive it forward as Product Manager. What you’ll be doing This is an end-to-end product role with a healthy blend of product strategy/ discovery work as well as Agile delivery work. From day to day, your activities will be varied - from setting the product vision, growth strategy, owning and managing the product roadmap to spotting opportunities to improve the functionality and drive revenue growth, from prioritising features or software updates to acting as the glue between the internal business functions required to successfully shift updates frequently. What experience you’ll need You will bring experience working as a Technical Product Owner/ Product Owner/ Product Manager.  Track record in launching and managing digital/ SaaS products. You will know your way around processes and implementing governance. Ability to translate product concepts and ideas into functional requirements. Agile experience. Experience in working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously. Shopfiy/ eCommerce or B2B SaaS experience is desirable.  Strong interest/ exposure to strategic product development. You'll have strong commercial and strategic skills to compliment your technical product skills and have a strong track record of driving commercial performance across products under your remit Must be comfortable to work in a 100% remote role!
