We’re looking for a Designer with an integrated skillset to join an in-house marketing team. This is an opportunity to take the reins of a brand-new role and produce a varied creative output for a forward-thinking company who partner with some exciting brands. The business is based in Swindon with a flexible working from home scheme so if you live in neighbouring locations Bristol, Bath, Gloucester, Cheltenham, this could be one for you! What you’ll be doing The business is at an exciting time of growth so there’s real opportunity here to get behind a successful brand with big ambitions for creative. With excellent design craft and a well-rounded skillset you'll bring design for the business in-house and take ownership of their creative output. You’ll be reporting into the Chief Marketing Officer and working alongside both a motion designer and in-house Copywriter to produce engaging content across print, digital and motion. This is a varied role where you’ll be taking briefs end-to-end; we’re talking anything from print brochures and infographics to digital ads, eBooks, websites and landing pages. In addition, the company creates a high volume of engaging explainer videos and animations, so in an ideal world you’ll have experience storyboarding and creating assets for motion. If you’ve some video creation skills yourself then that’s a bonus! Working closely with the Director of the business you’ll be juggling multiple projects while regularly presenting your ideas to senior leadership and the wider team. This role calls for a natural communicator who can articulate ideas with ease and keep a cool head in a fast-paced environment. With offices based in Swindon, they have a flexible working scheme offering some home working and a couple of days in the office. What experience you’ll need to apply Previous experience in a similar role. A portfolio of integrated marketing designs, any motion a plus. Experience presenting ideas to stakeholders or clients. Ability to juggle several projects at once and take ownership of projects. Solid understanding of Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) Perhaps some experience using After Effects and Premier Pro. What you’ll be doing You’ll be joining a purpose driven team to design tools that re-imagine traditional education and make learning accessible, rewarding and effective. As a UX/UI Designer you will support with a range of design related activities from discovery to delivery. The design team is reasonably small and so generalist skillsets are favoured over anyone too specialised. You can expect to design, plan and conduct user research sessions and test your designs and prototypes in usability sessions. You’ll work as part of agile, cross functional teams and collaborate closely with developers, providing polished UI’s for coding. Data led in your approach, whether using qualitative or quantitative insight. An expert user of the Adobe Creative Suite and modern design tools such as Sketch, Omnigraffle, InVision and Axure. We’re looking for both midweight and senior Designers to join one of our agency partners in Bath; a specialist brand design agency with a strong FMCG packaging specialism. What you’ll be doing  A strong year and healthy pipeline of new and retained business means they’re busy at all levels and in need of experienced packaging creatives to bolster the team. You’ll be joining the agency at an exciting time of growth and delivering world class FMCG creative for their clients old and new. Though you will work alongside experienced FMCG artworkers you’ll need to be confident with the detail yourself and be able to execute to a high standard too. We’re open to midweight as well as seniors so the expectation at each level will match experience; crucially though you’ll need to know FMCG inside out and be able to evidence it with a great portfolio of relevant projects. For a long time the business has had a robust infrastructure for distributed teams and has adapted quickly to the current situation so you’ll be working with a crew that is thriving during lockdown and a culture that’s fit for the world as it is today. If you’re an experienced FMCG creative and looking to work with a small, ambitious team then get in touch. Expect work of the highest calibre, but no ego’s in sight. We’re looking for designers from midweight to senior. Permanent hires being a focus but contractors please express interest too.   What experience you’ll need  Be a specialist with an FMCG focus in your work. Conceptual skills as well as execution. Prior agency experience, comfortable with the cadence of agency work and  project delivery. With seniority be able to display real strategic thinking. Evidence of working with globally renowned FMCG brands. Self-motivated, committed and reliable. Able to work from home for now with high speed internet and a high-quality monitor. What you’ll get in return for your talents Salary will depend on experience, but you can expect up to around £50k at the senior end. You’ll be joining a team that’s well renowned for having a strong culture, one that works hard but crucially looks after it’s people too. You’ll be working with a team that’s well suited to the current situation and when you’re back in the office you’ll be in a wonderful studio with all the bells and whistles of an agency work space.     Designer

We’re looking for a Designer to join a highly regarded consumer brand in Devon. What you’ll be doing Reporting into the Marketing Director and working alongside another designer, you will join the in-house marketing team. The brand has a hugely successful wholesale business as well as a direct to consumer model that is growing at pace. Recent events have meant a shift in sales to direct and a focus on growing these channels, you’ll play a key role in enabling this growth and create digital advertising that includes static imagery, GIFs and video content for social. You’ll also work on print projects from time to time including brochure design, direct mail and POS for retail. You’ll collaborate with the other in-house designer as well as external agencies when needed and work with those in the eCommerce team, buying and merchandising and photography regularly. This is a great role for any designer with some good digital skills that’s looking for a well-established boutique brand to call home. What experience you’ll need Previous commercial design experience (ideally with exposure to eCommerce and retail brands). Expert user of the Adobe Creative Suite. A portfolio full of designs that showcase digital advertising and a variety of print solutions (any brochure work, DM or retail creative of particular interest). A strong understanding of brand, able to adapt your style to suit. A great communicator, able to work with and collaborate with people of all backgrounds. Comfortable wearing a few hats and always willing to rise to a design challenge – whatever the brief. An understanding of print processes, confident communicating with printers and manufacturers.
