Alex shares what it’s like to work at ADLIB.
The best thing that happened to me this week:
I met up with a guy who I placed at one of our bigger clients in Bristol. As a Bristolian, he was looking to move back to Bristol from London as he wanted to get back to his home town and leave behind the madness of the City. I had a coffee with him and he was telling me how happy he was to be moving back to Bristol and that I had helped him to get the job he most wanted. He was really excited which was just really nice to see.
If I could change one thing that happened in my day today…
Probably just getting to work half an hour earlier, it's so busy at the moment, there's just not enough hours in the day!
For me, this is “what working at ADLIB” is all about:
Working with a bunch of very very good Recruiters. The best thing about working here is the collaboration and team work. Working with a truly great bunch of Recruiters, everyone shares the wealth of knowledge constantly and this helps create an excellent working environment where everyone is part of each other's successes.
My biggest feel good moment since I’ve been at ADLIB:
I'd say it was making my first hire and starting off a journey into building a brand new team for ADLIB. It's working out really well and I'm enjoying being a Manager again!
How I explain what I do at a party:
I work with companies trying to make use of AI and Data Science Technology for their apps, websites and product features. I speak with amazingly bright Programmers, Data Scientists and Consultants who are working at the cutting edge of what's possible in computing. I find all the potential applications of this technology fascinating and feel like it's a bit like looking into the future.
