Beth shares what it’s like to work at ADLIB.
When I was a kid I wanted to become…
Baby Spice. I soon realised I couldn’t sing, then it clocked that she already existed, so my ambitions shifted towards being a writer/creator of some kind. And here I am! CHEERS TO THAT.
For me, this is “what working at ADLIB” is all about:
Being part of a business that genuinely cares about the same things that I do. Having open conversations, working hard and coming together to do better, doing what matters beyond our day jobs. Being around talented and caring people who all have a similar mindset.
My biggest feel-good moment since I’ve been at ADLIB:
Becoming B Corp Certified as a business. We all came together to make it happen and it was a seriously proud moment.
How I explain what I do at a party:
After a few wines, it’s already been known that I have rather enthusiastically announced to a bunch of strangers that I devise ADLIB’s content and circulate some really inspirational career journeys within our sectors. Probably not that articulately, though.
Beyond recruitment at ADLIB, I care about...
The mental health of myself and others and actually talking about it openly and genuinely. All good things start with your wellbeing and I like to know that the people around me (in and outside of work) are on top form, if they’re not, I want to be able to help in some way.
