Fran shares what it's like to work at ADLIB.
The best thing that happened to me this week:
This week has been such a good week for me so it's hard to say but it's got to be a large project that has just kicked off; myself and a few colleagues in the tech team are supporting a large consultancy to help set up and grow a Bristol hub in partnership with Woman's Tech Hub.
If I could change one thing that happened in my day today:
I would've remembered to bring my lunch in as now I will have to take a mini stroll into town to buy lunch which is also lethal for a shopping addict with all of my favourite shops in such close proximity!
For me, this is what working at ADLIB is all about:
Working at ADLIB is all about working collaboratively with my colleagues all coming together as a team and supporting one another whilst having a good time in doing so! I've never worked with such a talented bunch that genuinely have each other's backs and all come together when we need to - it's refreshing to work somewhere that beats all the stereotypical recruitment agencies. Also, our clients see us as extensions to their businesses and regularly call on us for advice - whether that's our salary surveys, talking at an event or running workshops.
My biggest feel good moment since I've been at ADLIB:
Along with some really fun rememberable and not so rememberable summer/Christmas/ end of month/ end of quarter parties and trips away over the last 4 years, progressing from consultant, through to senior and then to principal definitely has to be up there with my biggest feel good moment - it's always lovely when your hard work pays off.
How I explain what I do at a party:
Depending on how early on in the night you catch me I'd tell you that I work with a portfolio of clients embarking on digital transformation and change projects, connecting them with Project Managers, Programme Managers, Product Managers and Business Analysts at all levels, if it's later on the night and I'm a few glasses of prosecco down I would probably just say I work at ADLIB..
