George shares what it's like to work at ADLIB.
When I was a kid I wanted to become…
A power ranger, to be honest I’d rather not talk about it.
For me, this is “what working at ADLIB” is all about:
Working for a recruitment company that is truly ethical. I say ‘truly’ because I’ve seen so many out there that claim that name, but in practice they don’t perform what they preach. ADLIB is about helping businesses and people, growing teams in a way that benefits everyone. The people here are just amazing and always have each other backs, being a B Corp certified just reinstates what we are about.
My biggest feel-good moment since I’ve been at ADLIB:
Placing a friend of mine, who had been in a job they didn’t like for over a year, I got them a hefty pay increase, cut down their commute and put them into a position they truly enjoy. With anyone that makes you feel good.
How I explain what I do at a party:
No one wants to hear about another person’s job when you’re on the dance floor (that’s the only place I’d be), so I’d probably just shout “I find companies people and people companies” and then probably say “but there’s a lot more to it” and then do a backflip.
Beyond recruitment at ADLIB, I care about...
Well, other than my family, friends and nut case cat; I care about the environment, less fortunate/homeless and understanding people with neurological backgrounds and how they best flourish. I also care about quality/personal time, people should always give themselves a break and allow time to rest!
