Joe heads up ADLIB’s eCommerce team. Collectively they bring together online retailers, multi-channel and omni-channel businesses with the brightest digital and eCommerce talent across the South West, South Coast, M4 Corridor and London.
Joe shares what it’s like to work at ADLIB.
The best thing that happened to me this month so far:
Gabby and I had an amazing time signing off from our season at Battle of the Paddle. We crashed out of the finals night (in style!) but it was a great opportunity to network with the burgeoning talent Bristol has to offer.
If I could change one thing that happened this week…
Spilling coffee all down my shirt on the way to work was less than ideal, so probably that! Can’t complain about the commute though, as being based slap bang in the centre of Bristol is great.
For me, this is “what working at ADLIB” is all about:
We all love what we do which creates a great vibe in an industry that doesn’t always get the best reviews. This drives us to learn our markets inside out, so whether you’re working with our Digital, Marketing, Creative or Tech teams, we can fully understand your needs and contact candidates with relevant opportunities.
My biggest feel good moment since I’ve been at ADLIB:
Probably have to be my first placement here after starting this year. Coming from a more regulated recruitment market in healthcare marketing, it’s been hugely insightful to work with everyday brands in eCommerce. The FIFA trophy on my desk is up there too…
How I explain what I do at a party:
Helping marry eCommerce talent with top brands across the South of the UK. We cover everything across the customer journey from acquisition to conversion and retention. Then I’ll usually go into too much detail so it’s best to catch people at the start of a party before they doze off!
