Nick loves recruitment. Handy, as has worked in the sector for over 19 years. Nick also loves the marketing and technology sectors. Again handy, as he worked in a top digital marketing agency for nearly 5 years. Today he brings this love together and is tasked with ensuring that the ADLIB team are the most talented, successful and ethical recruiters of technology, data, marketing and creative people that you'll ever know.
Nick shares what it's like to work at ADLIB.
The best thing that happened to me this week:
Our first L&D / Training Manager accepted a job with us over two other offers. We’re building an academy that enable our scale up and intake of new recruiters. This will open up all manner of possibilities, alongside developing the existing team in line with their career aspirations.
If I could change one thing that happened in my day today…
That Symantec will stop blocking emails that we’re trying to exchange with a new client. We’ve been appointed exclusively to help build a 200 person tech hub.
For me, this is “what working at ADLIB” is all about:
The people, everybody and everything progressing and working as a team to collectively maximise the opportunities that unfold in front of us every day.
My biggest feel good moment since I’ve been at ADLIB:
Looking back each year and seeing how much we’ve achieved over the course of 12 months. Only lasts a second though as we’re better at looking forward.
How I explain what I do at a party:
Secret Service. Saves explaining anything and allows you to swiftly move on to something more interesting.
