When I was a kid I wanted to become…
A sports or music writer.
For me, this is “what working at ADLIB” is all about:
Knowing that everyone has your back, there are no big egos and people want to be successful without acting unethically.
My biggest feel-good moment since I’ve been at ADLIB:
Getting recommended within the local community always gives me a buzz. I’ve been at ADLIB so long it’s hard to focus on one highlight specifically but helping my team to develop and working daily within a B Corp certified business means a lot.
How I explain what I do at a party:
Helping local tech business to grow their teams is the most simple explanation. But obviously it’s much more than that. I enjoy being part of the Bristol tech scene and passing on my experience to my awesome team. Unlikely you’ll catch me talking shop at a party though 😉
Beyond recruitment at ADLIB, I care about…
I’m very interested in how technology can tackle climate change and have helped to co-found Green Tech South West, a free meetup where people can come and get inspired by some of the apps and software being built to promote sustainability and greener living.
Out of work, I’ve nearly finished a challenge to run a marathon race in all 27 EU countries for M.E research and I’m an advocate for the charity Invest In ME (www.investinme.org). I also get out to gigs, am writing a book and enjoy making my daughter giggle.
