Our story

Freja was launched in March 2020 by husband and wife team Ed Armitage & Jess Higgins. This truly independent business was born out of their passion for the nourishing benefits of quality bone broth, but not being able to find a readily available option on the supermarket shelves.

They wanted a 100% natural broth that was store cupboard friendly, flavourful, nutritionally packed and responsibly sourced. They found their answer in the Nordics, where Freja was born! They launched in October 2020 and haven’t looked back.
