This is an opportunity to join an award-winning and international science-based company leading the revolution in molecular biodiversity monitoring using DNA based tools. They are looking for a Account Executive to join their growing sales team to work with key clients in the extractives and industrials sectors.

What you’ll be doing?

  • Develop a sales strategy to increase revenue targets within the mining, infrastructure and oil and gas industries.
  • Be involved in prospecting new clients, lead generations, referrals and also maintaining and developing relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Prepare and present proposals to prospective clients as well as being involved in cross selling services across other teams.
  • Negotiate and close deals as well as stay on market trends.

What are they looking for?

  • They are looking for someone who has experience within the extractives industries or has worked on large infrastructure projects but has a knowledge of biodiversity, environmental monitoring, or conservation biology.
  • Strong business development experience including full sales experience from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Experiencing selling a solution that has a positive impact on the environment is desired.

What you’ll get in return for your experience?

The salary for this role is up to £50,000 with uncapped commission. The arrangement for this role is hybrid with the expectation to be in once a week but can be flexible on this to a couple of a times a month.
