A forward-thinking global education leader requires a hands-on Data Engineering Manager to support the utilsation of modern data technologies.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Data Engineering Manager you’ll be the driving force behind managing data engineering resources across a diverse array of data solutions.

You’ll lead the design and build of a modern data platform to enable advanced analytical capabilities throughout the enterprise.

By working closely with architecture you’ll develop and maintain optimal long-term solutions and deliver impactful technical specifications for programs databases and reports.

In addition to providing technical support and training to clients you’ll maintain regular communication with a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure optimum value delivery.

What You’ll Need to Apply

• Proven experience in developing data and business intelligence solutions.
• Deep understanding of SQL Server 2016 and above.
• Demonstrable experience in Agile delivery methodology and practices.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience working with distributed teams.
• Experience with cloud-based services Azure preferred
• Spark/similar streaming technology is highly desirable.
