About the eCommerce Marketing Account Manager role

We are seeking a strategic and proactive e-commerce Account Manager with expertise in digital marketing to join our dynamic team. This role demands a blend of analytical prowess and creative thinking to support and expand several e-commerce brands. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of digital marketing strategies and e-commerce trends, aiming to amplify our company’s digital footprint and market presence.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Support and implement eCommerce digital marketing strategies in alignment with business objectives and segmentation strategy.
  • Account Management: Manage the delivery of multi-channel campaign strategies (email, search & shopping, paid social, web) focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty. Handle all aspects of client communications and relationship management.
  • Performance Analysis: Lead channel development initiatives through detailed performance reporting and analytics, including A/B testing, to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to technological advancements.
  • Data Insights: Analyse data and translate it into actionable insights for senior management. Provide consistent reporting on sales, traffic, and overall performance to managing directors and clients.
  • Project and Deadline Management: Efficiently manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring client satisfaction and project success. Highly organised and capable of juggling several client accounts and relationships simultaneously.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding and anticipating their needs and driving accounts to meet their expectations.

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • Proven track record in a fast-paced environment, managing paid digital marketing for e-commerce brands – you might be an Account Manager, Account Executive looking to step up, or working in-house, for D2C eCommerce brand.
  • Hands-on experience managing e-commerce digital marketing campaigns, including paid and email channels.
  • Proficient in various platforms for digital sales and website conversions.
  • Deep understanding of the e-commerce space, including digital marketing strategies, product development, competitive strategies, consumer research, industry trends, and usability best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills; ability to effectively multitask and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to interpret extensive data to make strategic decisions.
  • Ability to work independently, understand merchandising and seasonality trends, and adapt strategies accordingly.
