Front-End UI Developer
Tech-for-Good // Climate Tech

I’m helping an environmental and asset management tech business, with a focus on sustainability, find a Front-End Vue Developer. They’ve created sophisticated data collection tools that measure environmental impact in various ways. They’re very much on a mission to save lives and reduce emissions. Would you like to be part of it?
The skills we’re looking for
- HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Vue.js.
- Git.
A bonus if you have
- BI platform experience such as Tableau.
- Use of UX/UI design tools (eg Figma).
- Any use of Django, Python, SQL.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms – GCP preferred.
What you’ll be doing
We’re really looking for someone who can pick things up quickly and won’t need too much lengthy onboarding / hand-holding as such, as you’ll be taking responsibility for all aspects of front-end development and implementation. You’ll also get to work closely with backend engineers to ingest varied data, improve all user interfaces and contribute to the strategic direction of the company. As part of a tech start-up, you will need to wear multiple hats and demonstrate a strong motivation towards their mission. They firmly believes in investing in talent, so please do not be discouraged from applying if you do not yet possess all the key skills!

A salary of up to £40K DOE is on offer as well as benefits, with share options further down the line. They’re have a non-micro mgmt. style, so plenty of autonomy but support to grow too. They all hang out a fair bit going climbing each week, go for a drink here and there, all care about the planet and are sustainability focused. Some of the team enjoy going to Festivals, being outdoors and gaming.
