A FinTech company with an industry leading product is looking to hire Infrastructure Ops Engineers (at mid-senior level) to join their growing team in Coventry. What you’ll be doing

Joining a brand-new service ops team, this role plays an integral role in the provision of support escalation for on-premise and cloud systems across the group of businesses. It’s primarily a Microsoft / Windows environment; you’ll support internal customers with service requests and escalated IT support / NOC incidents, documenting all work in their service management system. You’ll take accountability for BAU operations across the group’s hosted SaaS applications, which includes reviewing, identifying and improving existing IT processes and regular system upgrades. The role reports to the Infrastructure Ops Manager and is primarily on-site, though you’ll be able to adopt a more hybrid approach once settled into the business.

What experience you’ll need

  • Proven background in Infrastructure Engineering, within Microsoft / Windows environments.
  • Well-versed in supporting VMWare ESX environments.
  • Knowledge of public cloud technologies, preferably Azure / AWS.
  • Advanced understanding of Active Directory configuration & support.
  • Familiar with database support, preferably SQL.
  • Windows server & desktop management expertise.
  • Microsoft web service admin expertise.
  • Clear communicator and solution-oriented in approach.
