Merchandiser (eCommerce)

We’re looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join the eCommerce team within an established retailer.  This is the ideal opportunity for someone to join an established team and be part of a forward-thinking business.

What you’ll be doing

In this role as the eCommerce merchandiser, you will be responsible for playing a pivotal role in driving the performance and growth of the eCommerce channels. You will identify opportunities for growth of the online exclusive products as well as building ranges from scratch in order to grow sales whilst ensuring a balanced product offering.

Using data and analytics, you will optimise the site and drive web traffic making sure that all online activity aligns with the overall brand and marketing strategy. You’ll work closely with other internal teams in order to constantly manage the flow of products in order to minimise lead times, create flexibility and improve availability

What experience you’ll need to apply

• Experience within retail merchandising
• eCommerce experience
• Data driven with an analytical mindset
• The ability to manage and support a small team
• Forecasting and range planning knowledge
• Commercially minded
• Good communication skills

This is a great role offering a salary between £30-45k along with 22 days holiday (rising to 27 after 3 years’ service), pension, a chance to gain industry recognised qualifications and the opportunity to work for a progressive and fun business with a nice laid-back environment. This role would require you to be in the office 5 days a week.
