Long standing Shopify Agency with an incredible reputation.

Need experience with Headless CMS.

Remote working anywhere in the UK (must be living in the UK).

One of the giants in the Shopify eCommerce space are looking for a Mid Weight Developer to join them. Based in Bath, we are looking for a Shopify Developer with previous experience with Headless CMS who is focused not only on writing great code, but how that code interacts with the wider project.

What you’ll be doing
Our client is a well-established Shopify Plus eCommerce agency with a decade in under their belts. These guys are honest, no mess, but incredibly supportive. You’ll be joining them as they are moving into a new stage of growth. With a lot of new projects coming in as well as consistent retained clients, you will be able to build, create, and deploy solutions across a variety of different roles. You will be working in a fast-paced environment creating simple, fast, and efficient solutions. As a competitor in the digital space, you’ll be working with the newest tech, be supported to investigate and research for projects, and develop ideas on how to provide innovative solutions.

As this is a Mid-Level Position, we are looking for someone with enough experience to know the core elements, but still with an eagerness to learn and grow. As mentioned before, the company is evolving into an all-round Service provider. This means that the person we are looking for will need to have a mind not just for creating clean, scalable code, but also looking at how that code will affect the project as a whole.

You won’t be alone; you’ll be joining a strong existing team of Shopify Developers (both Frontend and Backend) as well as QA’s and Project Managers. You’ll be given regular meetings to discuss your progression, investigate different routes for you career and be given ownership of, not just your clients, but your own progression also.

What experience you’ll need

  • Must have experience in an eCommerce Agency with Shopify.
  • Proven experience with HeadlessCMS (Oxygen, Hydrogen, Centra, etc.)
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Liquid/Tailwind.
  • Shopify template experience, debugging, and customisation.
  • Experience in an Agile environment i.e. Sprints, Clean coding, etc.
  • Ideally experience with React and/or Node.
  • Experience deploying in a DevOps environment.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • A problem solver that enjoys resolving complex issues.
  • What you’ll get in return for your talents
Salary ranges from £35k – £45k, 100% remote working, 24 days holiday + bank holidays. You’ll enjoy a structured and personalized professional development programme in addition to multiple employee perks and becoming part of an agency that is incredibly well funded and growing in all areas. You’ll also have full ownership of your clients, R&D time, and the space to really develop your ideas in a supportive and creative environment. What’s next?
