Packaging Design Engineer

I am looking for a Packaging Design Engineer to join a Material Science Biotechnology company. They are looking to create packaging solutions from cellulose which will replace the need for plastic bottles and containers.
 
What you’ll be doing?
 
As a Packaging Design Engineer you will be involved in designing and developing both sustainable bottles and containers from natural polymers. This role would be using CAD software to create detailed engineering drawings for manufacturing tooling as well as collaborating with a number of teams.
 
What they are looking for?
 
They are looking for an experienced mechanical engineer who has experience in designing and developing packaging solutions. Experience using natural polymers, PHA or cellulose materials is an advantage. They must have experience using CAD and experience in translating designs into functional prototypes.
 
What you’ll get in return for your experience?
 
The salary on this role is flexible up to £100,000 for the right candidate. You must be open to travelling 20% of the time around Europe and to the US.
