PHP Developer

Tech-for-Good // Health Tech

I’m helping a tech-for-good, health tech company based in Bath to find a PHP Developer who’s well-versed with MVC join their award-winning, supportive and highly motivated team. Their vision is to improve the health and wellbeing of people all around the world. Would you like to be part of this?

The skills we’re looking for

  • Commercial experience using PHP & MVC.
  • JavaScript with any modern frameworks.
  • High level of knowledge of software design principles.
  • Product development experience.
  • Collaborating with technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Experience of pair programming and peer code reviews.


Bonus points for

  • React or Vue.
  • Slim.
  • Test Automation.
  • Previous work in the health sector.

What you’ll be doing

Being part of their large Dev team, you’ll work closely with Product Owners and Account Managers on deliverables. You can expect pair programming in an Agile environment, sprints, liaising with their Ops team to make sure their apps are stable and running well, white-boarding and architecting as a team and peer reviewing code. You’ll lead by example and get involved with mentoring others and developing skills across the team too.
