About World Host Group

We’re expanding our team of talented marketing experts to keep up with our rapid, (literally) worldwide growth.

World Host Group (WHG) is a leading web hosting and domain name provider with 14+ brands under our belt (and counting). In 2019, we set out to build a scalable hosting business for a global market, building infrastructure and developing location and network-agnostic software with 24/7 global support.

In the last year, we grew from 80k actively hosted sites to 1 million. We acquired eight businesses, bolstered our brand portfolio from 3 brands to 18, and grew our global team from 30 to 350+.
Our teams are vibrant and energetic experts with diverse backgrounds and experiences – we learn from each other and aren’t afraid to make mistakes. We grow fast thanks to our collaborative, agile approach and have fun in the process.

Everyone says it, but we actually mean it – this is such an exciting time to join WHG.

About the PPC Manager role

Your work will span across paid search and advertising – collaborating with a creative team to craft ad copies that convert, build bidding strategies that outsmart the competition, and optimise campaigns for global reach – it’s all in a day’s work for you. You’re not just managing campaigns; you’re sculpting digital success stories.

This is where innovation meets creativity, and where your campaigns don’t just drive sales but elevate our brand awareness and impact on a worldwide stage.

The nitty gritty

This role includes everything an experienced Paid Search Manager would expect, from keyword research, lots of campaign set-up, ad copy crafting, and the briefing of effective landing pages. Set-up is great, but it’s how it runs that really matters, so there’ll be a big focus on optimisation, where you steer those campaigns and make them achieve great things. You’ll need to be adept at working with all the reports involved, and in giving the algorithms everything they need to hit our targets. It’s a varied and full PPC role with a lot of responsibility. Brace yourself; we’re not just exploring the UK digital marketing landscape but also conquering varied markets worldwide.

What you’ll take on

  • Craft and manage PPC campaigns that convert like wildfire.
  • Dive deep into bidding strategies to make sure we’re ahead in the digital race.
  • Optimise campaigns across various platforms, from search engines to display ads, and ensure every penny spent brings maximum returns.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align PPC strategies with broader campaign goals.

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • We’d love to hear from both agency side and in-house candidates – whether you’re a PPC Manager, Paid Search Manager or Paid Search Specialist, it’s more about the experience you bring.
  • Multi-brand/multi-client experience or global brand experience is highly desirable.
  • An excellent track record in acquisition PPC, ideally in working with tech services or a recurring revenue business.
  • Experience managing large budgets and taking accountability for performance.
  • The confidence to work at large-scale and in a hyper growth environment, matching our ambition to grow with the roll out of new activity.
  • Deeps skills in data analysis and a strong attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of the international search marketing space, and what it takes to make campaigns work internationally.
  • Thorough understanding of how search ads sit within a wider marketing mix.
  • Has a passion for what search can do and is keen to share insights with the wider team.

What you’ll get in return

  • An excellent salary in the range of £45k-£60k depending on experience.
  • Working with a growing team means that our benefits expand to cover your health, work-life balance and personal development. Enjoy 25 days of leave plus bank holidays, hybrid working, contributory pension scheme and private healthcare. Fitness groups and social events are also getting organised as the teams grow. It’s an exciting time to give your two cents on what benefits motivate you most as they get up and running (literally!).
  • No red tape, huge amounts of autonomy and the opportunity to have impact at a global scale.
  • Join a growing team and work alongside some of the best talent in the region.
