I’m working with an innovative tech company using data to redefine and democratize insurance. They’ve already improved the lives of hundreds of thousands of customers, and they’re just warming up. They’re now planning on launching more cutting-edge products and services in various sectors and countries. They’re creating a thrilling next chapter in their story and are looking for an additional Senior Data Scientist to join and be a crucial part of it.

What you’ll be doing
As a part of their Data Science team, you’ll drive high-impact initiatives in one of their core areas while lending your expertise to projects across other sectors. You’ll function within a dynamic cross-functional team, becoming an authority in your realm and using data-driven insights to influence their roadmap. Your key responsibilities will encompass driving growth and strategic decisions via leveraging data and analytic techniques, advocating the employment of data science, and cementing a data-driven process within the team. Crucially, you’ll own and drive machine learning use cases from inception to deployment and iteration, developing and launching predictive models through their platform, promoting automation, and yielding deep insight into customer behaviours.

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • An MSc or PhD in a data-oriented field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, etc.
  • Proficient skills in Python, SQL, and the ability to manipulate extensive data sets.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and deploying end-to-end Machine Learning models to address business cases.
  • Prior experience in the insurance industry is a significant plus!
  • Cloud experience using AWS (ideally), Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise across diverse technical levels.
  • Prior experience in a high-growth setting.
