Senior Project Development Manager – Wind

Responsibilities:

• Identifying sites for the implementation of solar and wind projects (study and mapping of technical, environmental and landscape constraints, site visits).
• Initiating, negotiating and obtaining the approval and liaising with local authorities
• Taking projects through to ready to build stage.
• Managing studies and reports including environmental impact study, wind, acoustics with the support of internal and external experts.
• Preparing the permit application.
• Manage the pre-construction steps; geotechnical studies and grid connection.
• Liaise with the wider business teams in order to grow projects throughout Italy.

 
Your experience:

• Business development/technical experience and a background in onshore wind or solar projects, engineering and service.
• Experienced in permits, authorizations, agreements with landowners, decrees from local authorities and grid connections.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with Italian and Spanish a plus
• Knowledge of both regional and national procedures and laws related to all the steps of the wind farm authorization process, and furthermore,
• Experience in AutoCad and GIS.

 
The client is a large scale European developer of Onshire Wind and is open to a varying levels of experience from 2 – 3 years of experience up to 10 years of experience.
The office is in Rome and ideally looking for attendance 3 days a week but are open to talking to candidates that can attend once a fortnight.
