What you’ll be doing

As part of a Shopify agency you’ll be bringing unique and beautiful design to life using Shopify Liquid HTML CSS and JS. You’ll be moving away from the use of native templates to bring clients’ ideas to fruition using your strong understanding of Javascript and CSS to make anything possible truly fleshing out your experience and gaining new skills as a Shopify expert. You’ll be working alongside some of the most innovative and progressive developers in the Shopify industry. This will be a different way of working with Shopify technology – creating websites that are functional aesthetically pleasing and interesting for clients – ultimately pushing you to become a better Developer.

As part of an existing team you’ll communicate and collaborate with those around you. Operating as a collective you’ll be encouraged to put ideas forward work in tandem with your colleagues and support each other in your progress. What experience you’ll need

  • 2+ years’ experience with Shopify and coding in Liquid setting up stores and ongoing maintenance.
  • 3+ years developing websites using HTML SCSS CSS and JavaScript.
  • Working knowledge of industry trends best practices and new tech.
  • A keen interest in eCommerce.
  • Scoping and providing accurate estimates.
  • Experience with Figma.
  • Git / Beanstalk / Version Control knowledge.
  • A working understanding of CLI’s and developer tools- Ability to work with and troubleshoot issues with third-party code.
  • API’s and services.
  • Ability to debug yours and others code efficiently.
  • An understanding of website performance and optimisation.
