Fantastic opportunity to join a well established small developer in New York. Strong track record in developing and constructing utility scale projects throughout the state with plans to grow the team and upscale the business. The role will involve Project Management from start to finish of construction of solar farms.
Responsibilities:
- Monitors and reports on solar construction productivity, budget, and schedule performance.
- Regularly liaise to provide updates on schedule impacts, change orders, budget, safety and quality control.
- Negotiate contracts and professional service agreements.
- Project manage a number of solar projects, engage with stakeholders, oversee and manage superintendents.
- Ensure all contractors adhere to OSHA safety standards.
- Oversee quality assurance and quality control throughout the projects.
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years experience within utility scale solar.
- Experience managing projects from inception to completion.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Project or related software
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal and customer service, organization skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent time management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
Office is based in Rochester NY – 3 days in the office as a minimum. Onsite gym & spa with family access alongside an office chef.
