About BAMG Sports –

BAMG Sports is a digital sports company that produces online rugby fantasy games. Our aim is to unlock the digital world of Rugby by creating global digital game experiences that rugby lovers need and deserve.

We launched our first product, Fantasy Rugby World, in 2020. It became a leader in the French
market with over 30,000 users. We have been able to build partnerships with clubs, leagues, media, sponsors, and Antoine Dupont as an ambassador (best player in the world). In collaboration with our Web3 associates (ERA2140, Markchain, Pyratz Labs), we’re now developing OVAL3, a new fantasy game that links Web3 and its technologies (Blockchain, NFTs, cryptocurrencies…) to real-world sport.

What will you be doing?

As a Technical Lead at BAMG Sports, you will be responsible for leading the development of our Web3 fantasy Rugby game – OVAL3. You will work closely with our agency partners to build a platform that integrates the latest technologies, including TypeScript, Nest, Prisma, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, Vue, TailwindCSS, and Apollo. This is a unique opportunity to work on a groundbreaking project that combines sports, Web3, blockchain, and gaming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development team in building a cutting-edge Web3 Fantasy Rugby game.
• Architect, design, and develop the backend infrastructure using TypeScript, Nest, Prisma, and PostgreSQL.
• Implement GraphQL APIs to facilitate seamless communication between the frontend and backend systems.
• Collaborate with the frontend team to create a visually appealing and responsive user interface using Vue and TailwindCSS.
• Integrate Apollo for efficient data fetching and management.
• Ensure the security, scalability and reliability of the platform, including handling NFT transactions securely.
• Mentor and coach junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow their skills.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver high-quality, user-centred features.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in blockchain and Web3 technologies and apply them to enhance the game.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and best practices are maintained.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.

What experience we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in technical leadership roles, leading and mentoring development teams.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, Nest, Prisma, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, Vue, TailwindCSS, and Apollo.
• Previous experience working with Web3 technologies, particularly NFTs, smart contracts, and Tokenomics is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with sports, particularly rugby union, is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
• Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality code and solutions.

Benefits –

Salary from £80,000 – £90,000 (doe).
