This leading Mutual is in the process of building out their Data Management department. As a result, they’re looking for a Data Governance Lead to be accountable for the enterprise wide data governance framework and strategy.
 
What you’ll be doing
 
You will report into the Head of Data Enablement, and as part of your role, you will be working with the wider Data Management Team to design and roll out a new data governance framework across the organisation. Working with some data management experts, you’ll be tasked with reviewing the data strategy for the organisation and designing the roadmap for implementing the data governance framework. You’ll assign data owners & stewards and work across the group on data governance projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience at enterprise level in a leading FS business.
 
What experience you’ll need to apply
 

  • Excellent experience working in a data governance role at enterprise level
  • Ideally experience in financial services or similar regulated industry
  • A solid appreciation of all areas of data management
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Understanding of the DAMA principles
